A REALLY fun 12 year old Birthday Party Idea

I was recently asked to photograph a 12 year old birthday party and bring my green screen and various assorted props... boa's, frames, hats and so much more!  I knew it would be loads of fun because we live in a day and time where 12 year old girls love photos of themselves and their selfies and "groupies".  (I was recently told by my 12 year old daughter that if there is more than one person in a "selfie" it is no longer a selfie and it is a "groupie".  I stand corrected. :)  

In addition to having a typical green screen party, I also decided to try something new.  Prior to the party I gathered about 50 questions such as "What do you know more about than your parents?"  I set up the girls in small groups and videotaped their answers.  It was fantastic and wonderful idea for a young girls party.  They will look back on this many years from now and laugh at themselves and their answers to important life questions.  Easy to do for anyone and loads of fun for all.  

As for the green screen portion of the evening, I knew it would be fun if we could get some music, set up the props and let the girls run away with their imagination.  It was!  They had a ball....Just a few of the photos from that evening.
