There are SOOOO  many great things about this career path I have chosen (or in reality, this career path chose me!) but one of the greatest is the people I meet and photograph.  These two ladies are no exception.  They reached out to me after getting my name from referrals when they posted on Next Door Neighbor, a free private social network for individual neighborhoods.  They were looking for a wedding photographer and while I don't typically do weddings, after speaking with Shelly on the phone, I knew I was going to do this one and LOVE it.  I was right.  

They were married on a lovely day in May at Villa Christina in North Atlanta.  It was an outdoor wedding ceremony in the well landscaped gardens at Villa Christina and the reception was just steps away inside a beautiful hall with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the lawn.   There are so many gorgeous spots to take photographs here from the waterfall to the gazebo to the well manicured lawns with beautiful flowering bushes and plants.  The backdrop is gorgeous everywhere you look and to think that this is just inside of 285 is amazing!! It is a gem. 

These two ladies have been together for over 25 years, have raised children together and made a wonderful life with each other.  It is a love story through and through and I was thrilled to capture the moment that made their marriage to each other legal!!  What a joy and too long in coming but the laws have finally caught up.
